Visiting the Airport

Visitors and prospective members are welcome during the soaring season, which runs from approximately April to October. Sandhill is most active on weekends, but members can be found flying almost any time. We suggest you contact the club first to ensure soaring activities will be taking place during your planned visit.

For those scheduling glider rides or simply curious about the sport, a stop at Richmond makes a fine addition to an afternoon outing. As well as the aviation activities to be seen at the airport, the Gregory area offers a diverse set of interests for the entire family.
